Green Meadows Farm

We went to Green Meadows Farm today. It was so much fun! Kaden had a blast, and Alia had fun too.DSC_0099 (1) DSC_0123 (1)Spotting a pumpkin. She yells “pahbah!” when she sees one. Kaden loved pumpkins so much when he was one, I was hoping Alia would too. She does 🙂DSC_0120DSC_0130DSC_0143Alia’s first horse ride! She was kind of unsure about it. I walked with her and she gripped on to my arm the whole time. But seriously, how is she this big already?!DSC_0148“I want to watch them clean up poop!”DSC_0159This place even has a train. DSC_0171 DSC_0201 (1) Sling-eating goat.DSC_0189DSC_0241 DSC_0245The ducks were a lot of fun. Kaden started out slow but he was soon tearing across the pen in a wild attempt to catch one for himself. He was much better than last year, and caught at least 3 or 4. At one point I looked up and he was holding a duck spinning around in a circle like he was dancing with it. It was ridiculously funny. Alia was a little wary of the ducks (and goats, and sheep, and chickens.)DSC_0414 DSC_0446 Just wait til next year, ducks.DSC_0424DSC_0468 DSC_0480And the chickens! The tour guide told us that you can tell what color of eggs a chicken will lay by the color of their ear lobe! Who knew. Probably my grandma. This chicken K held over his shoulder with one arm while he tried to catch another with the other.DSC_0535 We let Alia have a go in the chicken pen too. Brushing her off after a stumble.DSC_0559 DSC_0552BFFs.DSC_0596 DSC_0602DSC_0631 (1) DSC_0662Alia was thrilled when we got to the pumpkins & was very happy when I sat her down in a big pile of them.
DSC_0679 I couldn’t pick a favorite of her with the pumpkins.DSC_0699 (1)DSC_0715 DSC_0753DSC_0762 Kaden took a long time inspecting all the pumpkins until he found the perfect one to take home.DSC_0827Last year’s trip to Green Meadows here.
